Individual therapy gives you space to pause, reflect, and explore patterns or coping strategies that may no longer serve you. Together, we work toward building awareness, resilience, and new ways of moving through life with greater clarity and deeper personal growth.

Being a teenager isn’t easy, juggling school, friends, family, life, and figuring out who you are. Sometimes it feels like too much to handle on your own. I give teens a private space to talk things through, make sense of feelings, and find ways to cope that actually work for them.

Relationships can be both rewarding and challenging. Therapy offers space to uncover patterns that get in the way of connection and to practice new ways of relating. Together, you’ll work on communication, trust, and intimacy, while navigating the unique challenges and changes that may arise.

Being a pilot brings unique challenges—high stakes, strict standards, irregular schedules, and pressures that aren’t always visible. Therapy offers a space to explore how all this affects your mental health: performance anxiety, stress, fear of failure, feeling disconnected, or grappling with transitions. Together, we’ll uncover patterns that might be holding you back, develop resilience, and practice tools suited for your life in the cockpit and beyond. Concerned about confidentiality? Sessions are handled with the utmost privacy, including HIPAA compliance, and insurance involvement is not required for self-pay clients.

Working in animal care is incredibly rewarding—but it also comes with constant pressures, emotional demands, and unexpected stressors. Compassion fatigue, high-stakes decisions, long or irregular hours, and the weight of caring for animals in distress can take a toll on your mental and emotional well-being. Therapy provides a space to explore how these challenges affect you, process difficult experiences, and manage stress and anxiety. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be draining your energy, build resilience, and develop practical strategies to sustain your well-being while continuing the important work you do.

The bond we share with our animals is profound, and the grief of losing them is just as real as any other. There is often an unspoken pressure to "move on" quickly, but the loss of a family member—regardless of species—deserves time, honor, and a space to be felt.
If you are navigating the heavy days following a loss, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Drawing on my deep background in the veterinary and rescue worlds, I offer a compassionate space to process this heartbreak and find your bearings again.

"Nature Informed Therapy (NIT) blends evidence-based mental health practices with nature’s innate capacity for healing. We nurture human well-being by restoring connections - to ourselves, to each other, and to the natural world.
A core goal of NIT is reciprocity - supporting you in your healing journey in ways that also inspire care for the Earth. As people reconnect with nature, we are often moved to protect and restore it, creating a mutually supportive cycle where both human and ecological well-being can flourish."

Beyond one-on-one therapy, I offer opportunities for learning, connection, and growth in group and organizational settings. This includes processing and psychoeducation groups, nature-based experiences, and workshops or speaking events focused on communication, resilience, and mental health. Whether for therapy groups, teams, or organizations, these offerings are designed to spark conversation, build awareness, and support meaningful, lasting growth.
In California, I provide therapy services, including counseling services that encompass tele-health options, walk-and-talk sessions, and nature-informed experiences in the Sierra Nevada Foothills (Auburn and surrounding areas) when appropriate.
I offer self-pay services and accept Medi-Cal (Carelon/Partnership) insurance for mental health support.
If you have a different type of insurance, I am pleased to provide you with a superbill for potential reimbursement from your insurance provider for out-of-network therapy services.
